Happy Chinese New Year!! Water Dragon alright

Year of the water dragon. That explains all the rain right!

In Chinese Zodiac, 2012 (January 23, 2012 to February 9, 2013) is the year of the yang water dragon. It occurs every 60 years (the next one is 2072). To the Chinese, the Dragon is born in the most desirable year.

Happy new year and if you want to know what you are in Chinese astrology, visit myspiritualprofile.com and enter in your birthday for a free sample profile... its fun!

If your are a water dragon ...

Force and power are the symbols attributed to the Dragon. There is a decidedly exotic air about Dragon people, especially among the women, who fairly exude sexuality (-i think this means you have sex appeal). Indeed, whether male or female, Dragons are libidinous and score quite a hit with the opposite sex. (sweet)

The Dragon also possesses magical powers and a mystical side, intuitive, artistic and strangely lucky. However, Dragons can plunge pretty low, becoming irritable, stubborn and impetuous. The Dragon's mystical allure may become a bit too other worldly, making him or her difficult to get close to. A Dragon's unsatisfactory love life may lead to a string of loves and marriages. Believing themselves invincible, Dragons must beware of excesses, for with their uncommon strength, they can harm themselves, or "scorch their wings."

Flexible and accommodating, they fit in with whatever is going on around them -- but for only as long as it suits them. (Haha! Classic) This is because they are self-determined types and don't take kindly to being dominated by others. Although seemingly affable and agreeable, they can be as ferocious and dangerous as the mythical beast on whom the sign is based.

Temperamentally, Dragons are somewhat hot-headed and quick-tempered; when angered they will give as good as they get. Dragons are idealists and perfectionists; they demand a lot and they give a lot.

We ended up celebrating Chinese New Year on the west coast of New Zealand in Raglan. Had heaps of fun, dressed up for the occasion but it wasn't appreciated by many, we looked awesome of course, but people didn't know it was Chinese New Year - TSK!! We tried to let most people we encountered know.

Sweet spot though rags, good surf, pretty small but cool. The Volcom shop down Volcom Lane is mean!

Haaahaha and why did no-one want to dress up with us?

Awesome sunset at the campsite just as we were pitching our tent, Raglan
