About Looters Tuck

Looters Tuck is the name of the business, which is predominantly a food catering caravan.

Currently under renovation.

Some quick history:

Cute little retro caravan called 'the Beaut'. She had this name from her previous owners and it stuck. There was a car which towed the Beaut, called 'Garthy', or 'Darthy', whatever. Darthy's life unfortunately came to a dramatic end when he was written off completely on a drive back from Taranaki to Mt Maunganui. Bummer. So Beauty is going to relocate from the North Island to the South Island, Quake City, Christchurch. She needs to find a new Garth to pull her along. Quite a love story really. And a new jockey wheel as the old one bent (yep - bent :S).

Quite eventful really, the world of Looters Tuck!

Will keep updating with the motions of getting it all sussed. Primo!

Plum vs Banana... Stay ripe, juicy & succulent ;)

The Plum Poem

You must learn that you cannot be loved by all people
You can be the finest plum in the world,
RIPE – JUICY – SUCCULENT
And offer yourself to all.
However you must remember there will always be people who do not like plums.
You can learn to understand that if you are the world’s finest plum,
And someone you like does not like plums
You have a choice of becoming a banana.
However, you need to be warned that if you choose to become a banana,
You will be a second-rate banana.
However, you can always be the best plum.
You need to understand that if you choose to be a second-rate banana,
There will always be people who do not like bananas,
Furthermore, you can spend your life trying to become the best banana (which is impossible if you are a plum),
Or... You can seek again to be the BEST PLUM!!

It all comes down to fruit, obviously.

A plum would've been more suitable, but whatever... Here's 2 strawberries. They've gone now

Oil finally off the Rena, Bay of Plenty

When the containers came ashore on Mt Maunganui beach, Tauranga, Bay of Plenty.

Woohooo! Everyone did such a great effort with the clean-up, so many people volunteered and helped out it was amazing. Big ups to you all. THANK F**K THE OIL HAS GONE!! Well, most of it, sweet news. Now for the containers.. Sorry to the people with their gear left on it in containers but at least the oil issue means we can R.E.L.A.X some now.

Best article, covering heaps about the oil spill, beaches and more from Maritime NZ:

Getting rid of the washed up containers, good on ya lads! 'I said nice one brother'

Mount main beach is open and so is Clyde/Tay st. Public access restrictions on beaches between Mount Maunganui (Mauao) and the Maketū Estuary are now lifted.
Restrictions currently remain in place for approx 3km east from Harrison’s Cut, past the Pāpāmoa Surf Lifesaving Club to Alexandra Place. Public access to Maketu also remains restricted (areas require further clean-up).
